9 Days 8 Nights

 

 

Day 1 Amman

Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport you will be met by the one of our Team members who will assist you and transfer you to a hotel in Amman.

 

Day 2 Amman tour – Desert Castles

After breakfast brief tour in Amman, proceed East into the desert castles ,visiting Amra, Kharraneh & Azraq fortress at the afternoon return back to hotel for overnight

 

Day 3 Amman – Jerash –Ajloun-Pella - Amman

Breakfast then start discovering Amman, one of the oldest continuously occupied cities in the world. In Greco-Roman times Amman was named Philadelphia after the Roman emperor Philadelphus. It is a unique blend of old and new. Amman city tour gives you the chance to visit the Roman Theater, the Citadel as well as the National Archaeological Museum. Then visit Jerash, that is known for the ruins of the Greco-Roman city of Gerasa, Um Qais situated most important Greco-Roman Decapolis cities and was known as Gadara. Pella; The Roman city, of which some spectacular ruins remain, supplanted the Hellenistic city. Transfer back to the hotel in Amman.

 

Day 4 Amman-Madaba– Nebo-Dead Sea- Karak- Petra

Breakfast. Then drive to Madaba; this city is covered with fantastic mosaics from the Byzantine era. Many are located in private homes, discovered when owners dug foundations or gardens. At St. George’s Church, they will see the most famous of all - a clearly-labeled mosaic map of Jerusalem.

Mt. Nebo is just 9 KM to the west of Madaba, on a cliff overlooking the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea. Long believed to be the burial place or Moses. down the highway to Karak; An ancient Crusader stronghold, Karak sits 900m above sea level and lies inside the walls of the old city. Then down to the Desert Highway to rich pearl of Petra.

 

Day 5 Petra tour

In this day you will enjoy the visit of one of the new world wonders, the lost city of Petra. Petra the eighth wonder of the ancient world, it is without doubt Jordan's most valuable treasure and the greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabatean. Overnight Petra.

 

Day 6 Petra – Wadi Rum

Breakfast. Pick up from Petra hotel & you will continue to Wadi Rum, One of the world’s outstanding desert landscapes… situated in the friendly and peaceful nation of Jordan … truly breathtaking scenery and a chance to experience desert life and Bedouin culture, where you can enjoy the sunset. And have a nap in a nice tent under the stars.

 

Day 7 Wadi Rum-Aqaba

Free time in Aqaba

 

Day 8 Aqaba-Baptism site-Dead Sea

Breakfast. Along the highway you will be transferred to the Baptism site; where Jesus was baptized, then to the Dead Sea for overnight.

 

Day 9 Dead Sea- Amman Airport

Transfer to Queen Alia airport for departure.
